8th COASTAL ALTIMETRY WORKSHOP
23-24 October 2014│Lake Constance│Germany
The
Coastal Altimetry Community, that is the international community of scientists working on development and applications of altimetry in the coastal zone, invites you to the university city of Konstanz, on the German shore of Lake Constance, for the 8th Coastal Altimetry Workshop on 23–24 October 2014.
Coastal altimetry has become
a recognized mission target for present and future satellite altimeters, also thanks to the successful results from SAR and Ka-band altimetry. This Workshop aims at being once again a lively forum for a community-led review of the science and applications of coastal altimetry, from data processing through emerging applications to new technologies.
Participation in the Coastal Altimetry Workshop is free of charge.
The workshop will be held just before the SARAL/AltiKa Workshop and the Ocean Surface Topography Science Team (OSTST) meeting (
http://www.ostst-altimetry-2014.com), both also taking place in Konstanz on the following week, so that delegates can conveniently attend all these related events.
A SAR Altimetry Training Course will also be organised on 21-22 October 2014.
